Dr. Uma Ukpai, a celebrated evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), who passed away on October 6 at the age of 80. Born in 1945 in Abia State, Ukpai overcame a challenging childhood to become a leading voice in Pentecostalism, co-founding the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.
