NIPOST REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO CONNECTING NIGERIANS WITH DIGITAL AND LOGISTICS INNOVATIONS

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) is doubling down on its mission to connect people, businesses, and communities nationwide with reliable, affordable postal services. Speaking at the World Post Day celebration, Postmaster General Tola Odeyemi highlighted efforts to modernize postal facilities, boost last-mile delivery, and support Nigeria’s socio-economic growth.

NIPOST is championing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with a 15% logistics discount and an e-commerce platform offering seamless shipping and order management. Key initiatives like the National Addressing System and NIPOST Agro-Infrastructure and Logistics Initiative showcase its push for digital inclusion and bridging rural-urban divides, aligning with the government’s goal for universal national ID coverage by 2026.
