NIGERIAN STOCK MARKET GAINS ₦308 BILLION AS EQUITIES RISE

The Nigerian equities market continued its upward run on Thursday, soaring by ₦308 billion as investors showed strong interest in key stocks. The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) market cap rose from ₦92.49 trillion to ₦92.8 trillion, with the All-Share Index gaining 0.33% to close at 146,204 points.

Top gainers included Eunisell Interlinked and Caverton Offshore, both up 10%, alongside Sunu Assurances and Industrial & Medical Gases. Meanwhile, FTN Cocoa Processors led losses, dropping 6.67%. Despite a drop in traded volume and deals, trade value improved, led by heavy activity in Fidelity Bank, Dangote Cement, and Sterling Nigeria.
