FCT TO HOST AFRICA CLIMATE FORUM 2025, DRIVING GREEN TRANSITION SOLUTIONS

The Federal Capital Territory will host the Africa Climate Forum (ACF) 2025 from October 14-15, bringing together governments, investors, innovators, and civil society to develop practical solutions for Africa’s green transition. Prof. George Nwangwu of the Global Centre for Law, Business and Economy says this year’s theme, “Bolder, Greener and Better Steps,” focuses on closing gaps in funding, technology, and capacity for real climate action.

The Forum will feature policy sessions, networking, a Deal Room connecting project owners with investors, and a Marketplace showcasing clean technologies. It aims to move Africa beyond awareness to financing, coordination, and execution, positioning the continent as a leader in green innovation despite global climate challenges.
