University of Lagos boosts campus safety with new communication lifelines.
The Quality Assurance and Servicom Unit of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) plans to inaugurate 10 dedicated emergency hotlines across campus to support students and staff. Announced by Director Prof. Olufemi Saibu during the 2025 International Customer Service Week, this initiative aims to enhance rapid communication and response during emergencies. The unit also unveiled faculty phone connections to improve coordination and service feedback. Recent efforts include rigorous lecture, exam, and lab monitoring, leading to higher academic standards and engagement. The ICSW celebration will feature awards recognizing outstanding contributions from students and staff.
