Kaduna State Government received the ‘Best Government Supporting Women and Their Families Award’ at the 9th Voice of Women Conference in Abuja. The state was praised for gender-responsive reforms under Gov. Uba Sani, including a Women Affirmative Procurement Policy, Gender Responsive Procurement, and a dedicated Gender Responsive Department at KADPPA. Advocates hailed Kaduna for institutionalising inclusivity and boosting women’s economic participation, cementing its leadership in gender equity and family-centred governance.
