Coordinated raids across Kano, Lagos, and Kaduna disrupt massive narcotics network and illegal smuggling routes.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted 290,450 tramadol (250mg) and pregabalin capsules during extensive operations covering Kano, Lagos, and Kaduna. The agency also foiled a cannabis smuggling attempt from Thailand to Lagos, seizing 6.3kg of potent Loud cannabis hidden in bedsheets and dried hibiscus. Additional arrests included a notorious Lagos drug dealer caught with 550g of synthetic cannabis, as well as seizures of codeine syrup, skunk cannabis, and expired diclofenac in Lagos warehouses. NDLEA continues aggressive efforts nationwide to dismantle drug networks and safeguard Nigerian communities.
