Nigeria’s food and beverage giant expands portfolio with iconic Chivita and Hollandia brands.
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has officially approved UAC of Nigeria Plc’s acquisition of CHI Limited, makers of Chivita and Hollandia. The transaction, announced in July and now finalized, marks a strategic step in UAC’s growth plan. CHI Managing Director Eelco Weber expressed optimism for a smooth transition, while UAC’s Group MD Fola Aiyesimoju welcomed the team and pledged to build on the brands’ strong market leadership.
