Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, the visionary leader of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, is setting his sights on becoming the next governor of Lagos State. His drive? To push forward a Lagos where governance is inclusive and development touches everyone.
In a recent chat with NAN, Adediran shared that his bid isn’t just about personal ambition. It’s about forging a future where opportunities, innovation, and prosperity are available to all Lagosians. Eyeing the seat of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, he’s all about strengthening transparency, accountability, and top-notch service.
Though now firmly with APC, Adediran remains respectful of party decisions and promises to put the party first in 2027. His team is working hard to ensure APC not only wins but truly delivers for Lagos people.
He also pointed fingers at the PDP’s challenges, blaming leadership failures and internal indiscipline for its decline. Adediran warns serious politicians shouldn’t linger with PDP, given the anti-party behaviors he’s seen.
On the political landscape, he acknowledges the rising challenges from opposition groups like the African Democratic Congress and Labour Party, especially recalling how the latter shook things up in 2023. But Adediran insists APC is stronger and more united now, making a PDP win in Lagos highly unlikely.
With the Lagos4Lagos Movement’s strong presence across all 57 councils, Adediran’s ready to bring Lagos to new heights under APC in 2027.
