DELTA REGIONAL JETS COLLIDE ON TAXIWAY AT LAGUARDIA, ONE INJURED

Low-speed collision during taxiing causes minor injury but no flight disruption.

Two Delta Air Lines regional jets collided Wednesday evening on a taxiway at LaGuardia Airport, New York. The wing of a departing jet bound for Roanoke, Virginia, struck the fuselage of an arriving plane from Charlotte, North Carolina. A flight attendant sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized, but no passengers were harmed. The Port Authority confirmed no impact on airport operations. Delta is cooperating with authorities to investigate the incident and apologized to customers for the inconvenience.
