IIF LAUNCHES $8BN GENDER EQUITY ROADMAP FOR INCLUSIVE INVESTMENT

Nigeria sets 10-year plan to unlock capital for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

At the 3rd Gender Impact Investment Summit in Lagos, the Impact Investors Foundation unveiled a bold 10-year Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Roadmap aiming to mobilise $8 billion in inclusive capital by 2035. Developed with PwC Nigeria, the strategy targets launching 40 inclusive financial products, enacting 20 policy reforms, and achieving 90% GESI integration by investment partners. The Nigeria Inclusive Capital Commitment 2035 campaign formalises actionable pledges to drive equitable economic growth and empower marginalized groups. The roadmap signals a shift from advocacy to accountability, building a gender-inclusive Nigerian economy.
