The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) unveiled the Renewed Hope Mother-Baby Kits and Abuja Breathe Fresh Air Project, boosting safe childbirth and reducing indoor pollution. Minister Dr. Mariya Mahmoud highlighted free kits with vital medical supplies and new LPG cookers replacing firewood and kerosene to curb respiratory risks. These programs reflect FCT’s commitment to healthier homes, safer births, and cleaner air, aligning with broader healthcare reforms and environmental goals. Mandate Secretary Dr. Adedolapo Fasawe stressed reducing preventable maternal and infant deaths through access to clean, safe delivery essentials.
