Passengers can now book ahead for faster, safer train travel on Nigeria’s busiest rail corridor.
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) announced that the online ticketing platform for the Abuja–Kaduna Train Service is now open for payment as operations resume on October 1. Passengers can book via https://nrc.tps.ng or at designated stations including Idu, Kubwa, and Rigasa. The journey time has been reduced thanks to lifted speed restrictions, with a new schedule starting from 8:45 a.m. in Abuja to 5:32 p.m. return. NRC assures safety, comfort, and customer satisfaction as top priorities, valuing passenger patience during earlier suspensions.
Booking online is designed to ease crowding and improve efficiency, passengers select seats, pay online securely, and confirm reservations without queues. Enhanced digital booking safeguards against scalping and allows real-time seat availability checks, encouraging smoother travel especially during peak periods.
