KWARA UNITED APOLOGISES TO FANS AFTER EARLY CAF CONFEDERATION CUP EXIT

Chairman vows team will bounce back stronger after tough loss to Asante Kotoko.

United Football Club of Ilorin, through Chairman Kumbi Titiloye, has apologised to fans for their early exit from the CAF Confederation Cup following a 5-3 aggregate loss to Ghana’s Asante Kotoko. Despite a spirited effort, a lone goal by Hubert Gyalu sealed Kotoko’s win in the return leg at Abeokuta. Titiloye described the defeat as painful and regrettable but assured supporters that Kwara United is committed to making amends and returning stronger in the league.
