Denmark strengthens partnership to turn Nigeria into Africa’s maritime hub.
At the 10th Lagos International Maritime Week, Denmark’s Consul-General Mrs. Jette Bjerrum affirmed plans to deepen collaboration with Nigeria’s maritime industry. Highlighting Nigeria’s youthful workforce and strategic coastlines, she praised investments like the $1.2 billion by APM Terminals and recent MoU with Nigerian Ports Authority. Denmark, a top maritime nation, supports Nigeria with training and technology to enhance safety, efficiency, and growth. This partnership aims to unlock private sector potential and harness Africa’s ocean resources sustainably.
