Minister urges Nigerians to evaluate the landmark infrastructure connecting West to South-East.
Minister of Works Sen. Dave Umahi led a cross-section of political and civil society personalities, including PDP chieftain Chief Segun Showunmi, to inspect the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project. Umahi emphasized the need for Nigerians to appreciate President Tinubu’s infrastructure efforts and judge the project’s value fairly. The highway will link Ogun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom before ending in Calabar, boosting regional trade and connectivity. Showunmi called for national unity around development and promised a critical but fair evaluation of the project on behalf of Nigerians.
