Archbishop Okoh calls for lifting every home, beyond statistics, amid economic challenges.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) congratulated Nigerians on the 65th Independence Anniversary, stressing that true progress must be felt in every household, not just by numbers. CAN President Archbishop Daniel Okoh acknowledged the hardships from economic reforms but urged citizens to rise above ethnic, religious, and political divisions to work for the nation’s common good. He called for wisdom for leaders, collective effort against insecurity, and investment in youth to stop brain drain. Okoh appealed for renewed commitment to justice, equity, and unity under God for a prosperous Nigeria.
