NUPRC CALLS FOR DIALOGUE TO END DANGOTE REFINERY LABOUR DISPUTE

Regulatory chief urges peaceful talks to protect Nigeria’s energy supply amidst union conflict.

Mr. Gbenga Komolafe, CEO of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), has called on Dangote Refinery and PENGASSAN to engage in dialogue to resolve their ongoing labour dispute amicably. Komolafe stressed the need for NUPENG and all parties to avoid disruptions in energy supply nationwide. He highlighted NUPRC’s success in reducing crude oil losses by 90% through new regulations and real-time digital tracking of oil shipments, reinforcing Nigeria’s commitment to protecting its oil sector’s integrity and attracting investment.
