At New York’s Global Citizen Festival, Deputy UN Secretary-General Amina Mohammed praised the crowd for demanding justice and refusing to give up on a better world. Highlighting just five years left to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, she stressed the urgent need for peace, inclusion, quality education, and protecting the planet. Mohammed called for responsible AI use and women’s voices at decision tables, urging everyone to “cut through the noise” and fight against indifference for lasting change.
