Aviation as the vital link for seamless commerce and stronger Nigeria-UK ties.
Air Peace Executive Officer Allen Onyema urged Nigeria and the UK to align aviation regulations to ease passenger and cargo flows, cut delays, and drive bilateral trade growth. Speaking at the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce event themed “Trade without Borders,” Onyema highlighted the $8 billion trade relationship and called for fair agreements, reduced bottlenecks, and strong government support for local airlines.
Proudly representing Nigeria as its only indigenous airline flying directly to the UK, Air Peace plans to launch Abuja-London flights soon. Onyema also announced Africa’s largest aircraft maintenance facility in Lagos, promising 50,000+ jobs. He stressed aviation’s role as an economic lifeline and called for patriotic investment in key Nigerian enterprises to strengthen national security.
