FAAN LAUNCHES CASHLESS PAYMENT AT LAGOS AND ABUJA AIRPORTS

Nigerian airports go digital with faster, safer cashless payments starting Sept. 29.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), in partnership with Paystack, will roll out “Operation Go Cashless” at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, from September 29. All payments at access gates, car parks, VIP lounges, and protocol points will be cashless to speed up transactions, boost security, and improve customer experience. FAAN has deployed trained ambassadors to assist users, and travelers can get a “FAAN Go Cashless Card” for easy access and activation online. This initiative aims to modernize airport services and will expand to other Nigerian airports in phases.
