Godwin Emefiele, facing a 20-count amended charge including fraud and conspiracy, urged the Abuja High Court to foreclose prosecution after EFCC sought an adjournment without notifying the Attorney-General’s office. Justice Muazu adjourned to Oct 22, warning the prosecution this is their last chance to appear in court.
