Benue Government, led by Gov. Hyacinth Alia, launched an agricultural mechanisation outgrower scheme to enhance food security and commercialise farming. The pilot supports farmer cooperatives with tractors, inputs, and technical aid, aiming for economic growth and inclusive development for youth and women. Subsidy requests for tractors are under review as the state advances toward mechanised agriculture.
