The Africa CDC, with Team Europe, AVMI, and Ghana’s NVI, is running a workshop in Accra to finalize guidelines for vaccine tech transfer and strengthen local manufacturing. Despite hosting 17% of the world’s population, Africa produces under 1% of its vaccines; this initiative aims to change that, promoting self-sufficiency and focus on priority diseases.
