China’s Consul-General in Lagos, Ms. Yan Yuqing, announced that China-Nigeria trade surged to $15.48 billion in the first seven months of 2025, making Nigeria China’s second-largest trading partner in Africa. She highlighted expanding collaboration in infrastructure, energy, culture, and education under the strategic partnership from the 2024 FOCAC summit, pledging continued support for Chinese nationals and stronger bilateral ties.
