NIGERIA TO RECEIVE FIRST DRY LEASE AIRCRAFT IN 20 YEARS

Aviation confidence returns with dry leases, new maintenance hub, and expanded routes for Air Peace.

Minister Festus Keyamo (SAN) announced Nigeria’s first dry lease aircraft delivery on Oct. 6 via Air Peace, marking a shift from costly wet leases after Nigeria’s removal from the global blacklist. He highlighted the new Air Peace MRO facility at Lagos’ MMIA as a game-changer, saving billions in foreign exchange and attracting investment. Keyamo also revealed four new international routes approved for Air Peace, urging banks to support aviation growth.
