Foreign ministers of the US, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and UAE held talks to resolve Sudan’s violent 2023 conflict, which sparked a severe humanitarian crisis and regional instability. They emphasised Sudan’s sovereignty, called for a humanitarian truce leading to lasting peace, and warned against external military support fuelling violence. The ministers backed an inclusive transition to civilian rule and pledged ongoing cooperation for Sudan’s stability.
