New initiative mobilizes men as active allies for gender justice and women’s rights in Ebonyi.
Neighbourhood Environment Watch (NEW) Foundation unveiled the Male Feminist Network (MFN) in Abakaliki to engage men in combating gender-based violence and harmful cultural practices. Supported by Centre LSD and the Ford Foundation, MFN aims to train 1,000 male leaders and partner with communities to promote equality and end violence against women and girls in Nigeria’s South-East.
