PDP BLASTS SENATE OVER ATTEMPT TO BLOCK AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN’S RESUMPTION

PDP accuses Senate of unconstitutional move to silence Kogi Central’s elected voice.

The PDP condemned the Senate’s effort to bar Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from resuming duties after her six-month suspension, calling it a violation of constitutional rights and gender attacks. National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba urged Senate President Akpabio to clarify the issue and demanded the Clerk retract the blocking letter, warning against political interference in democratic processes. The party pledged full support for Akpoti-Uduaghan’s unhindered return to the Senate.
