Operation Fasan Yamma scores major wins against terrorists and criminals in Northwest Nigeria.
Troops under Operation Fasan Yamma killed 23 terrorists and liberated 26 kidnapped victims, including women and children, in Katsina State. Joint air and artillery support helped smash terrorist camps, with recovered weapons and supplies destroyed. In other operations, families of terrorists surrendered in Borno, criminals were arrested in Adamawa and FCT, and a farmer-herder clash was peacefully resolved in Plateau. The army pledges to sustain pressure until peace returns.
