Lagos State has been chosen as Nigeria’s host city for the 2027 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), a milestone celebrated by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as recognition of Lagos’ role as Africa’s commercial hub. The event, backed by Afreximbank, African Union, and AfCFTA, is set to attract 1,600+ exhibitors and 35,000 visitors, generating billions in trade. The state’s strategic location, growing infrastructure, and alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda position Lagos to drive Africa’s trade future.
