At the UN’s International Day Against Nuclear Tests, Nigeria’s Charge d’Affaires Syndoph Endoni pledged unwavering support for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) and the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). Nigeria calls on nuclear-armed states to join these treaties, emphasizing the urgent need to eliminate nuclear threats for global peace, and applauds Africa’s Pelindaba Treaty as a model for disarmament.
