Vice-President Shettima named Champion of Good Architecture as Nigeria pushes design for national growth.
The Federal Government is exploring forming a presidential task team to drive good architectural practices, following a visit by the Nigerian Institute of Architects led by President Mobolaji Adeniyi. Vice-President Kashim Shettima, appointed as the country’s Champion of Good Architecture, pledged strong support and called for architects to back the Tinubu administration’s vision for sustainable development and economic resilience. The NIA highlighted challenges like poor materials and urged architecture as a tool for societal progress.
