Kwara’s 22 Armoured Brigade ambushed armed bandits on Lema–Daban Lema road, resulting in a gun battle where one bandit was neutralised and an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, and motorcycle were recovered. Brigade Commander Brig. Gen. Ezra Barkins praised the troops’ resilience and vowed to intensify efforts to secure the state.
