UNICEF and the Federal Ministry of Information held a two-day training in Kano to equip over 60 journalists with skills for responsible child-focused reporting. Rahama Farah emphasized avoiding sensationalism, safeguarding vulnerable children, and building media credibility as vital for community trust and healing. Journalists were urged to be “guardians of children’s dignity” in their stories.
