Governor Mutfwang and UNICEF partner to fight child malnutrition with life-saving supplements.
Plateau Governor Caleb Mutfwang announced that 80,000 children aged 6-23 months will benefit from the Small Quantity Lipid-based Nutrient Supplements (SQLNS) thanks to a UNICEF-backed initiative. The program, supported by a $200,000 state commitment matched by the Child Nutrition Fund, aims to tackle malnutrition over five months, improving child health in vulnerable communities. Beneficiaries praised the government’s dedication to children’s wellbeing.
