Nigeria and Brazil urged to deepen cultural ties for shared heritage and economic growth during historic Brasília event.
Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka and CBN Governor Yemi Cardoso called for a stronger Nigeria-Brazil cultural and economic partnership during President Tinubu’s state visit to Brazil. Soyinka highlighted his ‘Return to Africa’ project symbolising spiritual reconnection with African roots, while Cardoso emphasised trade revival, direct flights, and digital banking innovations to boost diaspora engagement and investment between the two nations.
