Acclaimed Nigerian drama “Phoenix Fury” joins global lineup at prestigious US film festival, spotlighting African stories.
“Phoenix Fury,” directed by Ifeoma Chukwuogo and starring RMD and Uzoamaka Power, will premiere at the 16th Silicon Valley African Film Festival in California this October. The film, about a widow’s life-changing inheritance in Ghana, follows its AFRIFF wins and AMVCA nomination. Alongside other Nigerian films, it highlights authentic African narratives through screenings, panels, and cultural events.
