NDLEA SEIZES 104,900 TRAMADOL CAPSULES FOR INSURGENTS, MAKES MULTIPLE DRUG ARRESTS

NDLEA cracks down on drug trafficking, intercepting massive consignments fueling insurgency in northern Nigeria.

At Abuja/Kaduna tollgate, NDLEA caught 104,900 tramadol capsules hidden in a fuel tanker destined for Borno insurgents. Additional busts include 34.15kg of skunk at Zaria checkpoint, 30,640 tramadol pills and 7,940 rohypnol tablets seized from a major supplier in Maiduguri, plus 58kg skunk hidden in pepper sacks intercepted in Adamawa. Several suspects have been arrested and detained.
