Grace Adayilo, the pioneering first female and indigenous Head of Service for the Federal Capital Territory, has died unexpectedly at 57 in Abuja.
Known for her commitment to boosting government efficiency and supporting President Tinubu’s “Hope Agenda,” she was active and well just a day before her passing.
From revitalizing education to championing gender rights, Grace’s impactful career began in her hometown of Dutse-Alhaji and left a lasting legacy. At her time of death, she was also completing a comprehensive book on Nigeria’s democracy journey.
