Enugu City buzzed on Wednesday as the African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) Nigeria kicked off its 2025 Annual Parley with style and substance. The event featured a star-studded lineup: Mrs. Caroline Ibharuneafe, the dynamic President of AWLA Nigeria, stood alongside keynote speaker Mr. Frank Nweke Jnr, who set the tone with his insightful address. Ms. Chidinma Egonu represented the Wife of the Enugu State Governor, bringing high-profile support to the table. Steering the discussions were Prof. Joy Onyesoh, chairperson of the event, and Mrs. Bibian Aloba, head of the Parley Committee — a duo ensuring ideas didn’t just fly but landed where they mattered.
