TROOPS DEAL BLOW TO BOKO HARAM, KILL COMMANDERS IN BORNO, YOBE

In a series of operations from August 21-23, troops of Operation HADIN KAI wiped out top Boko Haram commanders and dozens of fighters across Borno and Yobe States. Supported by air strikes, ground forces foiled coordinated attacks, killed 11 terrorists including key leaders Abu Nazir and Abu Fatima, and seized weapons and motorcycles.

The 21 Special Armoured Brigade repelled a night assault at Kumshe with precision air strikes causing heavy insurgent casualties. Additional raids near Banki and Ndoksa neutralized more fighters, disrupted logistics, and degraded enemy firepower.

The Military High Command praised the troops’ valor, urging them to maintain momentum amidst ongoing security challenges.
