Say goodbye to guesswork and hello to health! Abuja’s newest FCT Wellness Centre, launched by AHF Nigeria, is now open for free STI testing and treatment — making sexual health accessible and stigma-free.
On Thursday, August 21, Abuja witnessed a game-changing moment in public health as the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Nigeria inaugurated the FCT Wellness Centre, offering free testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The event gathered key players like Dr. Doris John, Programme Manager at the FCT Agency for the Control of AIDS, Dr. Echey Ijezie, AHF Nigeria’s Country Programme Director, Alhaji Huseini Bako representing the Gomo of Kuje, and Mr. Usman Ibrahim-Obochi, Divisional Police Officer of Kuje.
This collaboration aims to knock down barriers around sexual health, promote early diagnosis, and provide treatment at zero cost. With dignitaries from both health and community leadership in attendance, the center embodies a fresh, united commitment to healthier lives in the FCT.
