Who says second chances can’t come with fanfare? Lagos just rolled out the red carpet for transformation as the Nigerian Correctional Service Zone ‘A’ showcased their 2025 Correctional Inmates Exhibition and Graduation Ceremony—proving growth never takes a day off.

On Wednesday, August 20, Lagos played host to a powerful celebration of hope and progress. The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) Zone ‘A’ held its 2025 Correctional Inmates Exhibition and Graduation Ceremony, steering the spotlight on reformation and skills acquisition behind bars.
Leading the event was the NCS Controller-General, Nwakuche Sylvester-Ndidi, who joined forces with Southwest Integration Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor, Ismail Odesanya, and Assistant Controller-General Ope Fatinikun to applaud the inmates’ achievements. The exhibition was more than a graduation—it was a testament to second chances, with inmates proudly showcasing talents that promise a fresh start beyond correctional walls.
With smiles, handshakes, and plenty of pride, this gathering underscored the transformative power of rehabilitation.
