The Rivers State Police have arrested 23-year-old Kingsley Chinamezu, aka Power Sharp, for the machete murder of his girlfriend, 44-year-old Confidence Sunny, in Etche LGA. After fleeing the state, Chinamezu was tracked down and arrested in Edo on August 15 following a family complaint and operation by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit.
The suspect confessed during interrogation, and further investigations are ongoing. Police have vowed to uphold justice and warned criminals that Rivers will not be a safe haven.
