The long-lasting traffic jam on the Abuja-Lokoja highway has eased with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) opening a second lane for smoother flow. The move, supported by fast-tracked construction and collaboration with contractors, has cut down the gridlock that lasted since Sunday.
FRSC Sector Commander Kumar Tsukwam urged motorists to stay disciplined and patient to prevent future chaos, while additional personnel monitor the route to keep traffic moving efficiently.
