Info Chiefs and Enugu Gov Hit the Ground Running on Project Tour

When the big wigs roll into town, progress isn’t far behind. Last Thursday, top info honchos teamed up with Enugu’s Governor Peter Mbah for a hands-on tour of ongoing projects – and sparks of collaboration flew!

On August 14, a powerhouse squad, including Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris, Enugu Governor Peter Mbah, and presidential aides, toured key federal and state projects in Enugu State. The group also featured Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy; Lanre Issa-Onilu, DG of the National Orientation Agency; Salihu Abdulhamid-Dembos, DG of Nigerian Television Authority; Linda Nwabuwa-Akhigbe, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Strategic Communications; and Ali Muhammad-Ali, MD of the News Agency of Nigeria.
Their agenda? To get firsthand insight into project progress and cement collaboration between the federal and state governments. The visit is a positive sign that the gears of development are turning smoothly in Enugu.
