Quick teamwork between Kwara State Police and local vigilantes stopped a planned cult assassination and nabbed two armed robbers in Ilorin on August 10. The suspects, Ishola Adeyemi and Ismail Rafiu from Ibadan, were caught after robbing a student hostel, with phones, cash, cutlasses, and other items seized.
Police investigations link the duo to a failed Eye Cult hit, forcing them into robbery. CP Adekimi Ojo praised the partnership for halting violent crime, urging residents to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities. The suspects are now in custody for prosecution.
