The Nigerian Army has delivered a major blow to terrorist groups by killing Amirul Fiya, aka Abu Nazir, along with other suspects, rescuing kidnapped victims, and seizing weapons across multiple states. Between Thursday and Saturday, troops repelled attacks, neutralized threats, and recovered arms in Borno, Zamfara, and Ebonyi. Swift joint operations with Civilian Task Forces thwarted terrorists and restored safety in affected communities.
Lieutenant Colonel Apollonia Anele emphasized the Army’s unwavering commitment to defending Nigeria’s sovereignty and working with security partners to maintain peace nationwide.
