Vincent Otse, aka Very Dark Man (VDM), led a solemn candlelight procession in Awka to honour the late Ifesinachi Onyekere, owner of Fish Magnet fish farm, who was tragically killed in his home. The march through Awka’s streets highlighted the urgent call for action against rising insecurity in Anambra and Nigeria.
VDM thanked the large, peaceful turnout of youths showing unity and demanded swift government response. Police spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga affirmed that investigations are underway, with the vehicle used in the crime recovered and leads being pursued. The police pledge justice and assured a safe, orderly event.
